I had the pleasure of working with Gail Dicus over the last year to find my dream home. So I have known Andrew for a decade, as we were fraternity brothers in college. That being said, I was very hesitant to work with him because I have worked with family and friends in the past, with mixed results. Andrew is actually a neighbor of my mother’s, and she urged me to give him a shot, so I did. To be honest, my wife and I moved back into the area after only being gone for two years, so we know the market and I am a do-it-yourself person. I mainly viewed the representation as someone who could get us showings and draw up contracts. Our actual experience could not have been any farther from my expectation. We bought in Verona Gardens, two doors down from the house that we sold when we moved to Texas. The market in that area is very hot. Our house listed at 12:00AM on a Friday, we had a showing at noon, and made an offer by 5:00PM, with a Saturday expiration. Andrew was actually out of town with his family during all of this, but he coordinated everything from the showing to drawing up the offer. To wrap this up, he represented us brilliantly. He made suggestions and offered guidance on topics that I honestly had never even thought of. For example, he suggested that I write a personal letter to the sellers, pointing out that we were formerly neighbors etc. I actually had a chance to meet the sellers and they told us that the letter was the main reason that our offer was accepted. In closing, Andrew did a great job. I have already recommended his services to several friends and family.

We have known Gail for a long time and had a good idea of what to expect. With that said, our expectations were more than met by Gail and your entire team. I really appreciated the continued communication from you all.

Andrew is a good friend of mine, so it would be hard for me to give an unbiased opinion even if he did not meet our expectations, but I can honestly say he has done a good job keeping us sane through a process that has not always been easy for us. He has always been available by phone or text at any reasonable time of day, even while going through the process of having his first newborn baby. It won’t be difficult for me to recommend him to others.
